The Beginning
Growing up in the heart of the California Delta, I am surrounded by some of the best fishing in the world. I enjoy spending evenings at my grandparents’ house catching bass, bluegill, carp and catfish off their dock. Sneaking into the fishing room they have and admiring the rows of poles and tackle. I love looking at the pictures that cover the walls of my dad, uncles, grandpa and great grandfather showing their biggest catches. Always hoping to make it on there one day. Fishing is in my blood. Passed down from generation to generation. Most of my time was spent in school, playing baseball and being outdoors. In 2020 Covid-19 hit and everything I had going was shut down. No school or baseball. The only thing I still could do was fish. I spent all my time fishing. Practicing and learning as much as I could. Riding bikes with my friends looking for the best fishing spots. I competed in my first bass tournament. At 11 years old I decided to take my love of fishing and start my own business, American Legend. My dream is to keep this legendary sport going.
